Default search sheet to get info on another

Hello Everyone,

I have two different worksheets. The first sheet is like a master list
of items. It also contains the prices for the items listed. The items
are in column A and the price is beside it in column B. The second
sheet is a list of items that the user has to enter in to be used for a
job. The user has to go through and enter in the item in column A that
he wishes to use for the job. Is there any way that you can take what
the user puts in on the second sheet and search the first sheet so that
the prices will be entered beside the items that the user put in? I
have tried several things and I am not even getting close.
