I would like to be able to import data into one spreadsheet from
multiple text files. The data from text file 1 would go into specified
columns, the data from text file 2 would go into other columns and so
forth.

Can anyone help me with this?

Without knowing anymore about your files or locations, you can start with
this code from Chip Pearson's site:
