Hi Tom, the Vlookup that you helped me with works really great and thank
you. I have now a new request in that i have column "A" with the part numbers in and column "I" with the prices in and i have six different quotes. Column "I" has prices which are contained in all six quotes and i need to do vlookup's to confirm the prices. Do you suggest that i first open workbook A do a lookup then close and open workbook B then lookup etc.. In other words i would have the same routine six times, just looking in different workbooks..... Also must the workbooks be open to do the lookup ? thanks in advance. I only see one question if the answer is the formula he gave you.
