Sometimes when I put a filter on a row, the filters appear but do not work.
You can select them and they won't show anything. Delete them and put them
back on manually, they work. Any ideas?

Hi Bill,
Never heard of it. Did you copy and paste the formulas
or did you manually enter them the first time. Perhaps the
equal sign had a space in front.

Possibility the filter hasn't detected the data range or you selected a
multicell range not including the data (only the header for example) when
you applied the filter.
