Unhelpful error message!
Can anyone shed any light on this please: I have a sub that converts a series
of text entries to numbers and copies them to another sheet. It works fine if it sits as a macro in Personal.xls, but when I moved it to a module in a working spreadsheet I got a wierd error message - a text box with a red cross and the figure 400 but nothing else! Hitting the help button brings up an empty window. Does it mean anything to anyone please? Thanks SJB |

Try closing excel and reopening it. this might clear up the problem. I
believe this is just an intermittent bug in Excel, so the actions I described might help. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "SueJB" wrote in message ...
