Default Refencing a Microsoft WORD Library in EXCEL VBA

I am using two different versions of EXCEL and I need to be able to
reference different veriosns of Microsoft WORD Library, Ver 8 for
Office 97 and Ver 10 for Office 2000. Is there a way with VBA to do
this, if so can someone help me with some code, please?

Thanks

Mark
