Default dialog box to pick path & file

From VBA, is there any simple way to prompt the user to choose a
existing file (either a data file or a directory containing data files
and return the full path of that file to be used in the VBA code? I
seems like there ought to be a dialog box that is ready made to do th
heavy lifting of interfacing with the file system.
