Default Build an excel application

Hello,

I built an application in excel.

In my application I have a worksheet which contains companies data
(dataWorksheet)
Each row contain data for different company.

I calculate data in other worksheets and created many chartsheets based on
the data.
Finally I linked charts and worksheets to powerpoint for presentation
purpose.

Today I have a list of companies in dataWorksheet and the user can manage
only these companies
(all calculations/charts etc. are based on these values and the user can't
change them.).

I want to build a gerneral solution where the user can declare companies
name and
all the other charts/worksheets/formulas will be generated automatically.

I thought to use Access for easier solution but I need to link my
application to powerpoint
and I find excel link easier.

What do you think ?

Is it possible to create dynamic excel application that will update
calculations worksheets and generate chart sheets
according to user input ? If yes, where can I read about it ? is there a
book which discuss there issues ?

Thank you
David Smith
