Default Limit characters in a word/text box in excel

Hi
I am using Excel 2002 and I am wondering how can I limit only 100 characters
in a text box or a Word object (called object10) in Excel? The text box or
my word object is sized accordingly, but it is just for notes. Sometimes a
user wants to write a letter, which I don't want. Any tips will be
appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,

In the textbox properties select "maxlength", there you can put in the
amount of caracters you need.

Regard,
