Default TreeView Help

In Excel 2003 I am trying to make a region/state pick list is in the form of
a Tree (like in a pivot table where you can click the plus sign and open to
additional choices. I have one created but I am having a few issues.
1. I can make the font of the selections smaller but can't seem to get the
+ - signs and picture any smaller.
2. Is there a way once the user makes the selection to then put that output
into a page on the spreadsheet in a cell so that I can reference that cell in
other formulas?
