I am using Office 2003 on Windows XP.
I have an Excel form file, that contains macros, uploaded into Public Folders in Outlook. In 2003, the user is given the opportunity to Save the file locally or Open it directly. Perhaps in an "On Open", I need a way to programmatically determine whether the file has been saved by the user - and then disable the macros (I can do this part already). i.e. I want the user to only Open the file directly from the Outlook folder, not save it and then open the saved copy. How can I programmatically identify if the file has been saved somewhere else vs. opened directly? Please note that Outlook does not have a program discernable path. Thanks much for your assistance. |
