Type of macro (Excel Version 4) that cannot be disabled?
At File open, after selecting "disable macros" some Excel files display the
following message: "This document contains a Type of macro (Excel Version 4) that cannot be disabled" What can be changed in the VBA code to allow the macro to be disabled? Thanks, Keith |

Thanks, Keith As the message says, that type of macro *cannot* be disabled. You can either delete the XLM macro sheet or delete the name(s) that refer to XLM macros. Other than that there is no other choice -- that I know of. -- Regards, Tushar Mehta www.tushar-mehta.com Excel, PowerPoint, and VBA add-ins, tutorials Custom MS Office productivity solutions |
