Should we use VB.net or VB6 to create an add-in?
I am starting to learn how to build a Com add-in for Excel. Most reference
that I could find use VB6 to create add-in. While I understand that VB.net is an entirely different programming language, is there any obvious disadvantages/advantages of using VB.net for add-ins? Is there any known difficulties for the programming or distributing VB.net add-in, compare to using VB6? Please recommend if you know of any book that covers VB.net add-in for Excel. Thanks!
