Default DDE Programming

Hi,

I am setting up a link via DDE between Excel and another program. In a
cell, I type the formula

=MyProg|Topic!DataItem

which works just fine. BUT, Excel then changes it to

='#29832'|'#7'!DataItem

which means that when I save, close and re-open the datafile, the link
no longer works. {The numbers above change each time of course)

How do I stop this from happening?

Thanks,

- Pasta
