Hi,

I am currently facing a strange problem updating an Excel File by a VB
application. I have got around 1000 Rows of data, which I update
programatically, on the basis of certain conditions. When updating, the
file size grows very rapidly in MB's. I know this because our company
has a policy of limited space on the shared area. One's you exceed 75%,
it starts sending you emails. So everytime I run this program the file
system starts growing.

Very strangely, If I go see the file under question on Windows
Explorer, it shows its size in KB's only.

Could you please suggest a possible cause for this, an if known a
resolution.
