Default Adding a worksheet from a date named workbook and save as current

This new job I have has just got me into macros within Excel. They have done
everything manually with all their data. The raw data comes in the same way
every time and it needs to be manipulate to report out they way they need. I
have gotten pretty much all of it macroed except for two things.

First, they insert a worksheet from another workbook which updates at
different times. So this workbook is named with the date (ie; employee list
07192005.xls). They always want to use the latest and greatest version of
this spreadsheet.

Second, they name this new file with the current date. (ie; contractor list
07202005.xls)
