Default Logging Data Single Input

Does excel give you the ability to log data into one box then give a
command to transfer the input into another cell? For example, I input
my name in a cell, my address in another, and phone number in another.
Press a command and the information is transferred to another set of
cells on the same or a different worksheet. I am trying to create an
application for logging customers by only placing their information in
one area. My excel knowledge is average so a brief explanation may be
needed to bring me up to speed if this is possible at all. Thanks for
the support.
