Default NEXT LEVEL OF ScreenUpdating

I am using 'Application.ScreenUpdating = False' at the beginning of my
code, and '... = True' at the end. I am getting a grey Excel window on
my screen until the macro shuts down. Is there any way to minimize this
window while the macro is running?

Thanks for a response.
