We recently upgraded one machine to Office XP SP3. On this machine,
whenever we open a particular Excel file from a network share which contains a link to another workbook, we're prompted with "This workbook contains links to other data sources... <update<don't update<help" dialog. I've verified that the linked source file exists in the proper place (same folder). This dialog gets displayed even though Edit Links | Startup Prompt | Don't display the alert and update links is selected. Opening this file in Excel SP2 environment from the same network share doesn't display this prompt. Any ideas on how to prevent the dialog from coming up? Thanks |
