show up on the screen, and not when your print out the sheet. i.e. On the screen: Type (double click for a drop down) When printed: Type |

One way is to put the text in a lable. Than set the PrintObject property to
false. -- steveB Remove "AYN" from email to respond "Chip" wrote in message ps.com... I am wondering if there is a way to have certain text in excel only show up on the screen, and not when your print out the sheet. i.e. On the screen: Type (double click for a drop down) When printed: Type |

From within vba i am assuming you mean?
By the way, I didn't know what you meant at first, and I went online and searched for PrintObject and it turns out I can also make a text box visible but not printable. I would prefer your approach because of the risk of someone adding rows or moving the text box. So if you could give me more info on what u mean that would be great. |
