Default Protecting Hidden Areas

Having hidden cells and columns on a worksheet, when I turn my workbook file
into an Addin are the options to UNHIDE these cells/columns active to a user
of the Addin. If so, is there any way to lock the user out of "fiddling" with
my formatting?

Thanks,
