As far as I know, you can't do this. You might get a more
definitive answer in an IE newsgroup. -- Cordially, Chip Pearson Microsoft MVP - Excel Pearson Software Consulting, LLC www.cpearson.com "Lee" wrote in message ... Hi, My question is not related to Excel, it is related to IE. How can I delete some (NOT ALL) of the history in IE. Thanks Lee |

IE history
Hi Lee,
I presume you mean selective and not just change how many days. From both Internet Explorer and from Firefox, etc., you can use Ctrl+H to bring up history and delete items from there by selecting with right click and then delete. A quick Google web search: deleting history items in IE works just as good for searching things for IE as for Excel stuff. Here is one that looks like it has a lot of what you might be looking for. http://ask-leo.com/how_do_i_delete_i...lete_list.html --- HTH, David McRitchie, Microsoft MVP - Excel [site changed Nov. 2001] My Excel Pages: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/excel.htm Search Page: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/search.htm "Chip Pearson" wrote in message ...
