Default Excel could not save all of your data and formats

All,
Microsoft KB article 215783 identifies that this message is issued by excel
on a save command when 2050 rows have conditional formatting. This is listed
as a limitation of how excel saves information.

Any known workarounds?

Thanks for any experience out there.
Alex J
