I have quite a few SQL queries that I have written using microsoft query. I
have never had problems with bringing the data back to Excel, saving it, and later editing it. For some reason I have run into problem ofver the last few days. It may have something to do with removing a file using a registory cleaning program, or a spyware program. My problem is this. I am able to run all my queries, but when I try to edit them, I get the 'connecting to external database' message and it never connects. I dont get a time out, it just never connects. AGAIN, I am able to refresh dso I know my ODBC is working. |
