Default Digital Certificate

I'm using pvkimprt.exe to import my .spc and .pkv. files to the registry but
keep running up against syntax problems in cmd
The pvkimprt.exe file is in c:\windows
the .spc and .pkv files are in c:
so I'm using the command line:
c:\windowsc:\pvkimprt-import"c:\mycert.spc""c:\mykey.pvk"
I just get an error message saying 'The filename, directory, or volume label
syntax is incorrect'
what am I doing wrong?
microsoft example has \privatekey\ before the mykey.pvk I tried this but to
no avail.
your help will be appreciated
