Help,
I have a frustrating problem in Excel. I'm making some changes to the formula below within an existing spreadsheet. {=SUM((Data_Account=$A5)*(Data_CloseDate<"open")* (Data_Type="Put")*(Data_RO<"Y")*Data_OverallProfi tLoss)} Now when I make any changes to the forumla, Excel removes the { and } from each end, then enters the result as 0. Yet when you click on the 'Edit formula' it shows the result within this popup window as the correct value (i.e. not 0) I tried adding the { } back into the forumla, but this just changes the text to a string. Any ideas ? |
