Default mexcel macro to run onselect

hey folks,

i want to know if there is a way to make a macro that will highlight a
section of a row (or the whole row if it has to be that way) whenever i
select any cell in that row (not on pressing enter but when i begin to
type in that cell).

thanks,
-michael

Look at Chip Pearson's site

http://www.cpearson.com/excel/download.htm

see the entry for Hilite. Also note the he offers an addin called rowliner
in the same line. You can modify the code to get your specific requirement.
