![]() How can I make this work, =IF(ISBLANK(F17),"",IF((G17-F17)*24<5,(G17-F17)*24,IF((G17-F17)*248,(G17-F17)*24-1,(G17-F17)*24-0.5))) 1st part works perfectly and the line below works aswell can someone please tell me how to make the two into the same code please =if(G18="Off line",7,"") Thanks in Advance Greg |

try posting this in excel.worksheet.functions (12132) because this is the VBA newsgroup. It depends on how you want the rules to be evaluated, but
the second one says to display 7 or "". How does that relate to the first one which only shows a "" when F17 is blank. =if(G18="Off line",7,IF(ISBLANK(F17),"",IF((G17-F17)*24<5,(G17-F17)*24,IF((G17-F17)*248, (G17-F17)*24-1,(G17-F17)*24-0.5)))) might be one way, but it is a wild guess since you provide no basis for determining how to combine them. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "Greg Brow" wrote in message ...
