I used SelfCert.exe to create a certificate to my VBA projects which
allowed end users to use them. The tool worked initially to allow me to create a certificate. However, after completing additional applications of the same program, I got the following Excel error message: "There was a problem with the digital certificate. The VBA project could not be signed. The signature will be discarded." I went back to the SelfCert Tool to try to create a new certificate. I got the following error message; "Could not create a certificate". I tried to download and install new SelfCert.exe and MakeCert.exe files I also tried to completely reinstalling the Windows XP Program... both attempts have failed to solve the problem. Can somebody clarify for me what may have caused this and some possible solutions? |
