I don't know if this is a Sharepoint post, or an Excel post. Forgive me
if incorrectly posted.

The following .iqy file works great with Excel 2003 to retrieve data
from Sharepoint (WSS). It does NOT work with Excel 2000. I get the
following error:

"The address of this site is not valid. Check the address and try
again. "

Is that because the Sharepoint retrieval mechanism doesn't work with
Excel 2000? or am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to get this
to work?

Obviously I can't let folks try this for real, so this is a
hypothetical. Does anything LOOK obvious.
