You can use ThisWorkbook.FollowHyperlink to do it without creating a
hyperlink in the Workbook:

ThisWorkbook.FollowHyperlink "outlook://Public Folders/" & _
"All Public Folders/BT plc/Networks/Network Build/" & _
"Processes/eTASK Enabled Processes/~" & process & ".doc", _
, False, True
