Default Compiling A Workbook

Is there a way to compile a excel vb app so the user does not have to have
excel loaded to be able to use the workbook and macros?

Default Compiling A Workbook

Only if your VB app is a complete spreadsheet app, i.e. a replacement for
Excel, with those functions you need.
