Default General Question

Is it possible to write to a file (excel or txt) without actually opening
the file?

No. But what do you mean by opening in the case of a TXT file? It is not
necessary to have it open in an application such as Notepad but the program
that writes must first open the file. Have you any programming experience?

best wishes
