Default How do I use an If Or function

n M1 a date is entered in the 02-Sep-05 format
in range P13:P15 I have day cost fees, [ P13 1.50], [ P14 2.00], [P15
2.50]
In P4 the formula {=TEXT(M1,"ddd")} which denotes 2nd. Sep as Wed,
3rd.Sep as Thu, 4th. Sep as Wed
Now in P5 I want to enter a fee relevant to the day name

Displayed in P4 would be if P4 = Fri then day cost = $1.50 , if P4=Thu then
day cost = $2.00, if P4= Wed then day cost = $2.50
Hope this is explains it

I dont get it... 2nd Sep hasn't been a Wednesday since 1998 and wont be
again until 2009. Were you just guessing?

You might be looking for a formula like:
=IF(P4 = "Fri", P13, IF(P4="Thu", P14, IF(P4="Wed", P15, -12345)))

Instead of TEXT(), you might be interested in WEEKDAY()
