Default How can I link a drawing object to data in a sheet in Excel?

I want to set up a drawing object that changes color based on sheet data i.e.
if a cell value = 1, the object turns one color, if value = 0 it is another
color/blank.

If this is not possible perhaps different drawings could be displayed
dependent on cell values?

I'm pretty sure this is a VB task, but I've no idea where to start.
