Default Changes not saved in xla module

Hi Tom - thanks for your reply.

I save the Addin by clicking on the disk icon on the standard toolbar in
the visual basic editor. I make sure first that the floating message
tells me it will save Module.xla.

Regards
Andrew Bourke

How do you specifically save the Addin after making changes (in the case
where it doesn't work).

ahh.. but that can be a problem. VBeditor sometimes refuses to save an
xla when you press that button. and will give no warning:(

I know.. Excel and VBE are very mature programs and you'd expect these
bugs to be fixed. Mail BillG with complaints :)

I always watch the statusbar to see if it indicates that excel is
actually saving the xla.

To be absolutely su
activate the addin in Project explorer
type thisworkbook.save in immediate window.
