Default using the excel range object

hey ....hope some one out there can help me with this ....... in
access i've opened an excel.application object and i'm trying to write
data from a recordset to a discontinous range, which i specified in a
range object but for some reason i get an error basically saying that
it can't write to the formulaArray property of the range object....
but it works fine if i specify a continous range!!!.....i'm now
learning as i go along with this .......i'm using dao objs in access
97!!!! ...this is my 1st time using vba and dao stuff ....i really
need some help or at least a finger in the right direction ....
