Default How do I enable simultaneous excel workbook users to use advanced.

I am trying to enable simulataneous access to an excel workbook for multiple
users. The spreadsheet contains macros that use advanced filters to enable a
user to select the type of view of the information in the spreadsheet that
suits them best. For some reason, if I am sharing the workbook, the macro
fails at the point where it uses the advanced filters. If I DON'T use
sharing, the macros don't work at all because it tells the people who have
read only access that the macros can't be found ?
