I'm writing an application for Excel that would require users have Solver
installed on their computer. Can I provide a hyperlink to download the add-in over the web? Many users may have lost their Office disk or may not have it handy. |

No, there is no way to download the free add-in that accompanies XL.

Well then, can I distribute the solver add-in with my program? Or, can

Assuming what you want to do is technically feasible (and I am
