Search for file using first 2 digits
I am using code that recieves a list of folder names from a director location... The user will chose the correct name from the list. Upon clickin ok i will look in the the directory specified by the users input and cop and psate values froma closed sheet. All of this works great, no problems. The directory it looks to get the folder names is... "X:/EXAMPLE/40/47" Now, some times 40 or 47 may contain letters or numbers after it.. Is there a way to make it search for folders within "P:/EXAMPLE/.. But only look at the first 2 digits/letters of the directory name?? The responses did not work. As they were for files not folders -- aking198 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- aking1987's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...fo&userid=1539 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread.php?threadid=31927 |
