Default How can I simulate menus through macro (Visual BasiC) ?

Hello,
I am on the point to write a specific macro allowing me to :
.. protect only a range of cells in a shared Excel workbook.

I did the process manually and, now I need to automate it. But, I don't know
how to simulate the "format" and "tools" menu; and their specific options.

THanks for your help,

Alain
