Default Character and number in a cell - Can you help?

I am trying to create a cell that can accommondate characters and
numbers. The first 12 spaces in a cell should reserve for character,
and the 13rd onward will be numbers. For example, if I enter ABC123,
it should written in the cell as 'ABC 123'.

Any idea?

Please help. Thanks.
