Default Range selection

I have been using the xllastcell command but saw a post a while ago about
active ranges and meant to copy it but got busy and forgot and now I can't
find it again.

The problem with using the xl commands it that it sometimes picks up blank
cells and I would rather use an all active cell command.

Can someone give me the command?
