Default conditional formating on pivottable

Hello everyone; your help gratefully appreciated on this one:

I have a pivot-table (current range: A10 to I44), however that wil
change as each new month is updated.
where column A has each row titles, and row 11 the column titles on th
pivot-table.

What I would like to do is:
(1) place conditional formating on the pivot-table so that values ove
a certain value, say: 50 are highlighted in (example) red.

(2) secondly, and i am not sure if this is possible: when the data i
refreshed, the "Grand total" column (currently column I) would b
highlighted as "increased" or "decreased" in a new column J (outsid
the pivottable).
Obviously, it might be better to put this new column in O i
anticipation of 12 months worth of data taking the pivot to column N.

As I say, not sure if either part of this question are do-able or not
But your expert opinions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Scott
