Default Linking tables

I just installed Office 03 on my system. I have some files linking to
Office02, but when i open the file it prompt me with update option. If i
click dont update it changes whole worksheet to #vlaue error, as with my
knowledge i know it shouldnt happen.

Can please someone help me solving this problem. Thanks!

Does it open normally if you DO update it? If so, why do you not want to do
that?
