I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to how I
might add some status indicators, somewhere on the Excel menu bars (ideally at the bottom). I am looking to replicate the built-in functionality that tells you, for example, that Num Lock is On, or that you need to Calculate, etc., etc. It would be helpful (for various reasons) for me to be able to show whether the open worksheet has links to any other worksheet (without going to the drop down menu), whether calculation is automatic or manual, and so on. Ideally a generic approach, with underlying macros that test the condition whose status I want to show, is what I am looking for. Hopefully, this makes sense! |
