Default Runtime error 13 type mismatch ?

Tom,

the 400 is consistent for me. I'm not using a form for the sav
function. I've got it as a button on the sheet. Is that where m
problem is most likely located. If so i would like to not have to use
form to save the info, just the button on the sheet. to do this would
need to write CL to a cell somewhere and reference it in the range
want to paste to ??

thanks for the help
Jo
