Default Automatically Add Foorter with full filename in Excel

Hi All

I am trying to add the full path name of the file as a footer to every excel
file that is created new or opened in Excel.

I am quite certain this can be done through VBA but not sure how.

Can someone please help?

Thanks

Hi
depending on your Excel version you could create a new
template and save this as book.xlt in your XLStart folder

Default Automatically Add Foorter with full filename in Excel

I am using Office 2003 and placed the file called book.xlt in the XLstartup
folder but it simply opens up the book.xlt together with a new workbook.

What I really need is an automactic way of including the footer on everyfile
that is opened or created from now on

Any more suggestions
