Save only Changes....Not complete workbook!
Is it possible to set a code in a very large spreadsheet (6MB or more
to save only the changes made to the book, rather than the entir workbook? It would obviously save to the same file name. This would presume then speed up the time required to perform the save operation! Celtic_Avenger :confused -- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com |

There is no option like this. In fact, while working with a file in Excel,
you are working on a copy of the file. If you close without saving, this file is discarded. If you save, then the original file is destroyed and this copy with the changes is renamed. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "Celtic_Avenger " wrote in message ... I think I will therefore need to go down the line of splitting the larg
xls file into smaller ones with links. Thanks Celtic_Avenge -- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com |
