Default SOLVER- programming or not?

Hi all.
I need to create a model with Solver tool but as it allows
only 200 variable cells, do I have to program the solution
or is there any other way to do it? If not, is there
another similar software to Excel/Solver to do it with the
same easyness?
thanx

Hi Henrique;

I found these two articles at Microsoft but did not find
an imediate answer. You will probably have to do multiple
solver routines via VBA but you might check out the
articles deeper than I did.

Thanks,

Greg

LINDO Systems makes a large scale optimization add-in to Excel called
What'sBest for linear, integer and nonlinear problems. You can get

Check out Direct Optimizer - a nonlinear optimization Add-In
for Excel. As an example of its performance, I solved
the famous Extended Rosenbrock test function (the "banana
valley" function) for 100000 variables in less than 20 hours
using a 266 MHz Pentium II PC with it.

You can download Direct Optimizer for free from http://www.directoptimizer.com
